OUR STORY
Inspired by the legacy of Robert F. Kennedy and his unequivocal belief that human rights should be a reality for everyone; RFK Human Rights UK exists to inspire the next generation of change-makers to make a positive impact in their community.
If our young people are to build a more tolerant world, they need to be empowered with the mindsets, attitudes, skills and knowledge to act. Our human rights educational programme is all about giving children and young people the power and confidence to use their own voice – and above all speaks to the human skills that underpin human rights.
With a dedicated team of passionate individuals, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights UK continues to make a significant impact in the realm of human rights, inspiring and empowering others to join the fight for a more just and compassionate society.
ABOUT RFK
ROBERT F. KENNEDY'S LEGACY
Robert F. Kennedy was a fearless leader who championed human rights. He was an advocate for the civil rights movement and spoke out against organised crime and U.S foreign policy. Many of the issues he discussed in the 1960s are still prevalent today.
We still have not achieved equality, racial justice or human rights for all. That’s why we have been inspired by his message and continue to strive for his dream.
OUR APPROACH
We are empowering young people across the UK by teaching them their rights and freedoms. We support young people to stand up for what is right and to be an advocate for their community.
Art has the ability to communicate, document and question the world around us. We explore the importance of our human rights through art, poetry, music and more.
